It is against the law for a minor in Nevada to use a fake ID to purchase alcohol pursuant to NRS 202.040. Fake identification includes altering, forging, counterfeit or borrowed documents. Asking, verifying and examining identification for all persons, not just those that appear to be under age, is the only defense from ensuring you are serving and selling alcohol to someone 21 years of age or older. Presently there is not a specific law that requires you to check ID if a person appears to be younger than a certain age. Just remember when in doubt ASK FOR ID.
