Bottom line selling or serving alcohol to a minor is a serious offense with serious consequences, regardless if it was intentional or not. Consequences such as:
- You may lose your job
- Be issued a large fine
- Face criminal charges with possible jail time
- Be pursued civilly
A person who sells, gives or otherwise furnishes an alcoholic beverage to any person under the age of 21 years old is guilty of a misdemeanor under NRS 202.055.
